Suspected ISIS terrorist held in Bengaluru by NIA


Bengaluru: The Nationwide Investigative Company (NIA) sleuths have arrested a suspected ISIS terrorist in Bengaluru.

Zohaib Manna has been recognized because the suspected terrorist and was arrested on Wednesday.

Based on NIA sources, the sleuths had been looking for the accused since 2020. The accused has been in contact with terrorist organizations such because the ISIS and the ISIL.

Zohaib Manna was allegedly concerned in brainwashing gullible youths and recruited them to terrorist organizations particularly to the ISIS. He had created a gaggle referred to as ‘Quoran Circle’ and provoked youth to select up arms.

The accused confirmed violent photographs and vidoes of Syria to harmless youth to poison their minds. He despatched a number of youth to Syria by Turkey from India.

The NIA had arrested rice service provider Irfan Nasir in Bengaluru, Ahammad Abdul Khader, a financial institution worker from Tamil Nadu, and a health care provider Mohammad Toukeer Mehboob on expenses of elevating funds for ISIS in India.

All accused individuals belong to this terror group and have been on the NIA radar since then. Investigations confirmed that the accused had been funded to hold out anti-national actions in India.

The accused had been in contact with Syrian ISIS terrorists, lured youth, college students and professionals from Bengaluru in direction of terrorism within the pretext of spiritual discourses. The accused have despatched as many as seven batches of youth from India to Syria.

The accused camped within the outskirts of town and acted as per the directions from Saudi Arabia. The group deliberate creating a powerful ISIS terrorist group in India, NIA probe has revealed.
