LS, RS not to have any visitors during winter session


New Delhi: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is not going to have any guests through the winter session of Parliament starting November 29, sources stated Thursday.

The customer’s galleries in each the homes shall be closed through the upcoming session because of the prevailing Covid state of affairs and restrictions imposed.

Officers of each the secretariats have written in regards to the non-availability of galleries for guests through the upcoming session.

The sources stated resulting from Covid protocol in power through the session, MPs shall be made to sit down within the galleries meant for guests in each the homes.

The seating association of members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha has been made in a staggered method within the Chamber and the galleries, in response to an official round.

“No customer shall be allowed to witness the proceedings of the Home through the session and no public gallery cross shall be issued through the Session,” the round stated.

The winter session of Parliament will proceed until December 23.
