Kashi imagines Baji romantically embracing her when she hears announcing of a court meeting to honor her.

Baji honors Kashi
Kashi is shocked when Radha receives the news and declares that she can’t allow that to happen.
At the court meeting, Baji reveals that the Mughals had abducted Chimaji however Kashi was able to rescue him through her shrewdness in the absence of Chimaji.
Furthermore, Baji reveals that as an incentive, Kashi has been given the power of the title of Peshwin.
Radha protests against Baji’s decision
Kashi says she doesn’t have the authority, while Radha interrupts and says Shahu Maharaj alone has the authority to approve Kashi Peshwin.
In the end, Baji reveals that he is doing it for Shahu Maharaj’s behalf, leaving all of us in shock.
Baji demands Kashi for a seat on her throne, but Kashi denies it, saying she’s not able to sit on the throne.
She stands before the King, and she says that she accepts the rule with reverence.
In the next scene, Kashi and Durga are walking through the garden as Durga is concerned about Baji’s lacklustre towards Kashi.
Kashi is loved by Baji
But, Kashi says that Baji really loves her since Baji didn’t hesitate in giving her the power.
Kashi is sitting on the swing, when Baji arrives, while Durga is left alone.
Baji is standing behind Kashi asking her about what’s bothering her while Kashi declares her mind is bothering her.
Kashi is trying to express her emotions to Baji
Amused, Baji asks her what she is thinking about, but Kashi is shy and says that he doesn’t know her thoughts.
Feeling timid, Kashi asks Baji if you have ever heard of poems. She then tells her it is something poetry alone can do more than his swordsmanship or fighting skills cannot.
Baji is oblivious to Kashi’s advances
Baji isn’t sure about her methods of flirting and advises her to be clear in her speech.
Kashi informs her she’s looking for to be in a position only he could give her, with the hope that he will understand her words.
But, Baji still doesn’t understand and Kashi in a pathetic way tells him to think about the issue.

A woman is also running through the forest and is able to get into the courthouse.
A servant arrives at Kashi and informs her that she’s been invited to go to the Courtroom.
Inside the courtroom Kashi will read a written letter to the requester , who informs her that she wishes to express her opinion in private , not in the front of an audience.
Kashi stunned to witness Bhiubai
Kashi declares that she is respectful of the requester and advises the crowd to leave following which a woman with her head covered walks into the courtroom.
Kashi is friendly with the woman and requests her name.
The lady claims her sister is Baji, Bhiubai Joshi shocking Kashi and Radha.
Kashi recalls her childhood memories with Bhiu and becomes emotional looking at the marks on her.
