Chris admitted he was in contact with the governor but didn’t say if he had given his advice sibling to resign.

The host of “Cuomo Prime Time” reportedly spent “four or five hours” on his speedboat before returning to shore as dusk fell. The younger Cuomo was approached by a reporter as he walked to his truck at the Sag Harbor Yacht Yard.

“Of course I have,” replied Chris Cuomo when asked if he had spoken to his brother on Tuesday. He then kept quiet when asked if he had told his older brother to resign, if he was… keep advising Andrew, and whether that created an ethical conflict for the younger Cuomo.

The New York Times, citing two sources, reported late Tuesday that Chris Cuomo had advised his brother to resign from office amid the fallout of revelations he had made. 11 women sexually harassed — including nine current or former state employees — in violation of federal law.

“I think you’ve got work to do,” Cuomo finally said as he passed the reporter, “and I’ll let you do it.”

In the wake of a message from Post dat Andrew Cuomo has no place of his own to stay once he leaves the governor’s mansion in Albany, Chris Cuomo was later asked if his brother would join him in the Hamptons.

“Yeah, if you wait here, he’ll be here in five minutes,” snapped the anchor as he climbed into his Ford F-150. Cuomo ignored other questions as he left the dockyard, including whether he believed the women who accused his brother of sexual misconduct.

FoxNews.com also reported that Cuomo told their reporter that he called New York state poachers to “tell them not to get you.” It wasn’t immediately clear whether he meant the comment as a joke.

The host of “Cuomo Prime Time” has not been on the air since Thursday. The next day, he embarked on a seemingly pre-planned vacation to mark his 51st birthday, which fell on Monday. He hadn’t mentioned his brother’s scandal on his schedule last week.

Andrew Cuomo stepped down as governor on Tuesday, 16 months before the end of his third term in office.

A report released Aug. 3 by New York State Attorney General Letitia James describes the size of the CNN stars earn extra money as an advisor to his brother, for which the anchor apologized in May after The Washington Post initially reported on it.

“I can be objective about just about any subject, but not about my family… I am extremely loyal to them. I’m family first, job second,” Chris Cuomo told viewers on May 20, later adding: “As my brother’s situation became turbulent, I was looped into conversations with other friends of his and advisers, including some of his staff, I understand why that was a problem for CNN. It will not happen again.”

A CNN representative told The Post late Monday that recent talks between the brothers did not violate network policy because Chris Cuomo did not attend governor’s staff meetings or act “in an official capacity.”

Critics have called for the anchor to be: disciplined or fired for his dual role, which is a serious ethical violation.
